How the hell is everyone doing?? Is F4AA pretty much dead, and IL2-1946 is about the only thing happening here? I'm finally taking a hiatus from WoW, and I figured I'll be damned if I'm not going to fly something....anything. I even installed FA last night, lol.

And yes, I'm still pissed about EA screwing us out of USAF and the World War idea Evil or Very Mad

Yep, still alive....just been living in MMORG for years, lol. Good to hear from you and happy to see you're still running the show Wink

Rgr that about the sims, I was looking forward to getting back into the Viper again, but oh well. IL2 looks to be a fine sim in it's own right.

I'll get 1946 reinstalled, and I'll see ya around Wink

well mine is a bit larger than most, cause I have a ton of extra skins...
mine is like 46 GB.

I would expect yours to be quite a bit smaller.

1946 + HSFX shouldnt be too hard a hit. the skins add a ton though.

my skins folder is 16GB

OK. Any idea what the barest install footprint would be? I guess a better question would be, do we have a step-by-step procedure for installing and what to install? Then given that process, would you have a guess at the install footprint?

I know, I need to get a bigger hard drive, hahaha. Unfortunately, I just can't do that right now Sad

Ah, thanks WildCard. Sadly, even 17G might be a stretch for me. I'll have to take a look at the situation tonight. Yeah, need to get a second HD.

Yeah, I know, it took a month, hehehe. Anyway, got a 500G HD from Best Buy today, and it is now installed. Pretty damn cheap too....$55...which is shocking when we're talking about Best Buy, lol.

The "right out of the box" version of IL2:1946 is installed. Not even patched. What do I do next Widow?

Thanks Widow....I'm all good up to getting the 214th's mod. That page can't be found. Then I remembered that FM switched providers, so does that have something to do with it?
